Amazon has 64GB Apple 10.9" iPad Wi-Fi Tablet (2022, 10th Gen, A14, Blue color only) on sale for $329. Shipping is free. It's $5 less than previos frontpage deal.
It's the best price it's been, however if you don't need ipad now, I'll wait (a new gen is coming very soon).

I would upgrade but is it worth $165 to you. If you have a keyboard right now, you may need to get a new one depending on if you want to apple keyboard folio but that's another $225.

Possibly because of the M1. While most people probably won't notice a difference in performance, you might get an extra year or two of support over an A-Series chip.
I think so. Air has M1 processor, double the RAM, and a laminated True Color display. It also has Apple Pencil 2 support if that matters to you.
And I think works with more accessories like last gen Magic Keyboard
