Costco has their DJI Mini 2 bundle with one extra battery, bag and 32 GB micro SD for $440, if you don't need 3 batteries, charging hub and a larger bag.

I got the Costco deal and was worried that two batteries will not be enough. After a few flights I can say that the 30-minute flight time is very accurate estimate and is a very long time for a flight. I always end up returning before using up the entire charge.

Post above mentions that the photo quality is crappy. Not sure what the person is expecting from an entry level sub 250g drone. The quality is acceptable in my opinion, I attached some photos I took.

That is not correct. You can purchase DJI Care refresh for their factory refurbished items as well. DJI refurb on ebay come with 1-yr warranty and you can buy the 2-yr package for $79. The refurbs at $100 lesser end up being better because of this.

Where do you get 25% off?
Amazon warehouse has 25% off today. Not worth it as these are used items. The refurb deals on ebay are better as they are still under $400, are DJI refurbed, and come with 1yr DJI warranty and 2 yr Squaretrade warranty.

Great price for the mini 2 fly more. I would jump on this if I didn't already have the m3p.
meaning if you had no drone today
you would get the mini 2 over the mini 3 pro?

True but then you miss the deal or will they send another one?
No Amazon will not send replacement for used . They will ask you to return and order again. You might miss the deal in that case

My son is 12 and wants to buy a drone that will last, tired of wasting money on $50 - $100 garbage. What are feelings on the Mini SE?
The SE is probably a good drone if you can get a good deal. I got a Mavic Mini fly more combo (used like new) from Amazon a couple of months back for $140 inc tax. Great drone for the money.
