I just bought a Kindle Kids reader which comes with 1yr - is there a way to get these two to stack - perhaps activate the paid one first, before the free one? Or is Jeff going to end up taking a year away. I know when I bought two kids kindles, they did not let me stack the Kids+ which is silly.

Sadly I don't think so. I got 2 tablets before and they wouldn't let me stack two free years you could always try?

I don't think so either - i think someone elsewhere mentioned if you have a paid for subscription the free one gives you a pro-rated refund. Unless I can buy this and not activate it right away.

Maybe you'll have some luck on talking to someone on Amazon chat?
I have 2 kids with paperwhites for reading and they listen to audiobooks on the pc, all from the library. Would one subscription work for both of them and is there enough content to make this worth it? Apologies but the amazon website is vague.

Oh I see, when you buy Amazon Kids+ subscription, it will not add on or continue to the 1 year free promotion of Amazon Kids+ you will get for purchasing a kindle device
In any case you'll buy Amazon Kids+ subscription, your free trial period will change to annual subscription. I hope the information helps
So no - you can't add - it'll replace your free/promo yr. boo jeff, boo.

One subscription should work for both. My kids have the full kindle tablets, which they use for games - and enjoy the subscription a whole lot.
I missed this deal, didn't realize the monthly subscription fee was changing from $2.99 to $4.99 (or $48 yr). I see there is a "Promotion Code" field on the yearly subscription page. Does anyone know if there is an active code?

If I understand this correct, by switching to the annual rate we'd come out ahead for this year and then pay more after that?
