It's not a straight-up crop on the original 4:3 aspect ratio, they went frame by frame to do a "smart" crop and the upgraded the image, better explanation can be found Google. I have it. Wish it had Latino dub since that's what I grew up with in addition to English dub from toonami/cartoon network.

I ordered this set back in 2018, and you do miss alot of the scenery and whatever, sometimes action shots are weirdly auto cropped, but it is decent for what you get. I will say however, 2 of the sets in this box set were damaged upon reciept so check all your cases to ensure they are protected. Amazon allowed me to order the sets that were damaged as the overall product was no longer available.

Is this the complete Dragon Ball series? Meaning is this since Goku was a kid to the end of the Dragon ball story? I often get confused with their Dragon ball vs Dragon ball Z series.

I also grew up with English dub, but first got into DBZ in Mexico (childhood) before it's release in US. Honestly, Goku's latino voice (from Mario Castañeda) is probably more iconic worldwide since his voice is used in all latin america and Mexico. It's funny since he dubs a few other shows (anime, cartoons, and shows) so all you hear is "Goku's" voice.

Some anime, like yugioh have a lot of random cuts/censored content.
Watching the sub of yugioh was a different experience imo.

Hoped this would have dual audio.

I wish I could get a version that didn't do that recap over and over, and the stuff going in and coming out of break, just be all sliced and linked up as one continuous show.
