OG is better. This one you can only use branded pods.

OG Vertuo can only use branded pods as well, except for a couple other brands like Starbucks. The OG Nespresso can use non-branded pods.

Coupon code should work, I didn't add any food or anything, just bought the coffee maker. See attachment. I will say that I have the SlickDeals extension in my Chrome browser and it always offers to check whatever codes it has on the Walmart site. It automatically inputted 7 different codes and only one of them worked which was WOWFRESH.

I got this from Walmart a couple of months ago for 129 and it has been awesome, apart from the price of Nespresso cartridges. My unit was made in Ukraine instead of the usual China. I also got Madama silicone lids from Amazon, which gives me the option to use my own coffee with the pods if desired. I recommend it.

How do you find the silicone lids to work? I've never tried a custom pod in my Nespresso machine.

I have one of these on my counter right now to take apart for fun and see if I can make it work. Second one neighbor had go bad and they didn't ask for it back this time. No sign of life.

I'm not a coffee or espresso drinker, but I love ice cream. I've experimented with making coffee ice cream using instant coffee grounds but didn't taste great. Then I tried a combo of instant coffee and half a packet of powdered Vietnamese coffee & creamer and it turned out much better. Store bought mocha almond fudge ice cream is probably a top 5 flavor for me. Do you suggest buying espresso powder to get an improved taste?
