My benchmark is galaxy buds+, panasonic Rz-s500 or Akg N400. I would love to know how these compare. If they're close I'll definitely bite at $30.
Beware that the controls on Sony are push button, not true touch controls. People say they're sensitive enough though.

The push buttons are actually quite nice. They are sensitive so it doesn't shove it deeper in your ear when you push them.

No thanks, I initially thought they had ANC, which would make them worth a shot at this price. The specs on some sites are incorrect and conflict. I don't need any more basic buds, at $30 or any price. If you're okay without ANC and passthrough, good like, you may be happy.

What I have from Tozo works fine for casual use, and I switch to a pair of KZ's when I'm more interested in sound quality and don't care about the wire connecting them. I can wait on a deal on a pair with everything. I'll grab a pair of AKG N400 next time they go on sale. Had some, but they sprouted legs and walked off.

Naw bro, these should not be your first and last pair. The Echo Buds with ANC, pass through, and Alexa were like $45 on sale and there were some nice JBLs with pass through for around $30. I actually was very pleased with both, just lost them around the house.

These were on sale for $60 on prime day, I have this and the AKG, Sony better fit, AKG better sound.

I received mine today. They look brand new; just no original box. I took a Clorox wipe to them just incase. Ear tips and USB-C charging cable appear to be brand new. Sounded OK out of the box. I downloaded the Sony Headphones Connect app and adjusted the sound to my preferred preferences and I'm pretty impressed for just $30.

I got them today. I removed the tips to change size. I noticed that the sound holes have no mesh grill. Could you check yours to see if it's the same?
They shoul have a grill to prevent earwax and stuff to get into the sound canal. I don't know if theitheir absence is by design

There is some kind of mesh way deep inside but not near the tip on mine.

received the set today. left side functions all perform well. on the right side, pause (single press) and next track (two presses) work but the previous track (3 presses) just does not work - it either pauses or goes to the next track but never goes to the previous one. Anyone else chime in ?
