FYI for anyone who has a current wells fargo credit card - for most of their older cards you can do a product change over to this card instead. I just did this so I can move away from my old 1% cash back card to upgrade to this. You don't get the sign up bonus but all of your credit limit, age of account and all transfers over with it.

Here's my plan. My local utilities allow extra payment. 500 to electricity, 500 to water, 500 to etc and set up the CC to pay monthly to finish before APR is up and free 300 dollars
in fact i've got medical bills anyway

Chase's $200 back in points after $500 in purchases is always live, and they also have 0% introductory APR for 15 months. I was recently approved for a credit line of $4500 with a ~700 credit score, granted I have another card with them that's ~3 years old. Not shilling, but this does not seem especially slick by comparison.

Both are nice and many already have that one. This is a new one so no one had it. Plus after my bonus I'll just use this for streaming and my phone. No other card matches that.
If I have the old WF Platinum Card and wish to apply for the Autograph card and get the 30,000 bonus, am I able to later roll my Platinum card into the Autograph?
Stay away from a scammy bank. Once you open a card, expect them to open multiple accounts in your name, see unexpected charges and fees. You suffer, they pay a fine in 2-3 years and continue business. You end up with a headache and bad credit score. TLDR, nothing is free in the world.

I believe that was their past and hopefully they don't repeat it

I wanted to hate WF but I've been with for 18 years and no issues. I've moved a significant amount of my business to a local credit union but credit cards and ATM access is lacking
I'm not sure $300 is worth the blood pressure medication or stroke recovery sessions you're gonna need for having to deal with their support. Wells Fargo is by far the worst company to work with, and their support just bounces you around continent to continent for very simple questions. Don't say I didn't warn you.
