I thought I would share this link for checking your outstanding Amazon returns as they keep burying it deeper and deeper for some reason. This is useful if you have several returns and want to check their status quickly. Otherwise, you need to go through each order one by one, and that can be a pain, if you have many orders.

Enjoy!

Anyone else have returns with UPS numbers that aren't trackable and sit pending in your account for weeks even after they've been dropped off at UPS? Status: waiting for receipt of item before refund....they seem to be stuck at Amazon sorting

Had this happen a couple weeks ago. Returns online said it could take 2 weeks for return credit, but tracking didnt show anything 5 days after I dropped it off at UPS store, and I hadn't received an email receipt for the dropoff. I did Amazon support chat, just to ask for email drop off receipt and they advised there was different tracking than I had, item arrived at returns warehouse and chat rep immediately issued the credit.
Returns at Kohls stores seem to credit return a lot quicker, same day or day after drop off usually.

I have at least 3 boxes of orders (individual or combined) per day. I do return at least 3 to 5 items out of 20 to 30 weekly purchases. That is the price to pay to maintain your double digit ranking on Amazon Hall of Fame! And I have never had any problem returning. There has been weeks, I bought 35 items and returned 20 of them. No question or headache ever.

Or has had a personal experience in it. I ordered some car brake rotors to do a job, they shipped me the wrong part a tie rod ends, so I sent them back for a refund after weeks of waiting for my refund I called and was told I sent back the incorrect items and the and they disposed of it. That if I wanted a refund I need to send back the "correct" item. I sent back what they shipped me and tried to explain the error. Was told I was "abusing the system" and got banned. Had to dispute charge with my bank to get my money back. I had been a prime member for over a decade….maybe returned 20 things in my lifetime to Amazon and shopped there at least once a week. It probably depends on who you get customer service wise and if they are helpful or power tripping.

One would think that there has to be some standard of returns vs. purchases (algorithm) that you have to exceed to be banned. I'm surprised no one has figured it out yet.

I feel like this is a isolated incident. No way this happens to everyone. Plus there's that "sent back the wrong part". Looks like rotors can be around hundred of bucks. Even if you returned 10 of them, it will be around 1k. I have sent 4 laptops at the same time b4 in the range of 1300 to 1600. They never questioned it and gave me refund.

Totally understand the frustration. But, when you brought the bank involved, then that's when the they banned you because it bounced back in their credit. That's what caused the ban, not you returning multiple rotors.

Again, if you return items, it's not bannable. It's almost virtually impossible to get Ban and be labeled "abusing the system".

This has been a constant problem when I have to use UPS as a return carrier. Sometimes UPS scans it and it shows delivered but amazon never refunds me until I get on chat a month later when I realize it. Other times it never shows picked up and I have to get on chat and send them the return tracking number. I've learned to save every UPS drop off receipt bc it's so bad. Never have problems when doing Kohl returns.

If you have prime, you can literally send back every single item you order that is shipped and sold by amazon and you will never get banned, never get denied refund, might even make money on credits over time. Anything else said here is a lie. Yes, if you use another seller or don't have prime, you won't get that treatment, oh no.

My mom got her account banned after 20 returns some clothing some electronic items. Amazon will lock your account for returns you should exchange if possible not return. plus always read reviews and read the description of everything do not just look at the picture. There cracking down now.

I buy a lot of stuff from warehouse, which is super hit or miss, so I return stuff often and I've never had any issues.

I probably return 3-4 things a month. I buy a lot from Amazon though. Because I'll take a month to actually get to ups, these can definitely get lost.

Much appreciated.
