This has been $40 on the netgear website for months and you can get 10% off and free shipping if you sign up for their email subscription (using a burner email of course).

Great router for the money but this is not a deal...

This was recently available for $29.99 on Amazon. I purchased this to be an access point on my point-to-point WiFi system to an adjacent building. It is easy to set up, has a decent (but simple) interface, and has been very reliable. If you are looking for a device where you can be a power user and change every single setting, look elsewhere. But for my use, it works excellent.

Yes, this can work as either a router or an access point based upon which you select in its interface.
