Just a warning on the Amex offer... Dell does not bill you until the laptop ships and the scheduled arrival date for this laptop is August 5 which means it probably won't ship out until around August 2, which is when Dell will bill you. However, the Amex offer must be used by July 25, so if you want to use the Amex offer at this point, you need to buy a laptop that will ship out within 2 or 3 days.

I got a code and emailed them, managed to get it last time when they restocked the next day with amex $120, hopefully they can add the 12% discount on top of it as it still has not shipped yet

Dell website says you can go 4+8 but doesn't say anything about 8+16. [dell.com]

I picked this up last time the deal went around and so far it's been amazing. For all two days I owned it. Then the 8 i k , and ] keys went out on it and I'm waiting for a technician to schedule in the next couple business days to replace it.

I personally went and just bought the 32gb crucial kit from amazon and it set me back like 110 or so.

Other than the key issue, it's fantastic!
