1st phone has white spot and sent to Apple. Apple denied the warranty due to 3rd party modification, and I think the screen is replaced. Still under warranty until 04/22, which is useless.
2nd phone, screen is cracked and screen is replaced too. Still under warranty until 03/22, which is useless too.
3rd phone, heavily used and out of warranty. Screen seems original. I can see bad scratch front and back.
Be very very careful and know you are taking your chance.
1st month service required for activation.
2nd month service is not required for unlocking.
Phone will unlock after 60 Days.

most of these phones have 3rd party parts on them such as screens and batteries.
in the last iPhone 11 refurb deal which were 200, I received one with a plastic film that looks like it came from apple and one that usually comes with the 3rd party screens.
2. you get same trade-in value no matter its used or new.
I wonder if his showed parts replaced. 🤷 ♂️

other than that, go to apple and tell them that your phone is acting up
usually these come with apple warranty BUT that will mean nothing if the screen or battery is 3rd party.
