Please be very very careful. You might receive screen replaced phone, which is bad quality. I think some people received used good phone and some received screen replaced phone. You know you are taking your chance and return is such an hassle. Some people in the previous deal received brand new unactivated phone, but I think it is just rare case.


1st phone has white spot and sent to Apple. Apple denied the warranty due to 3rd party modification, and I think the screen is replaced. Still under warranty until 04/22, which is useless.

2nd phone, screen is cracked and screen is replaced too. Still under warranty until 03/22, which is useless too.

3rd phone, heavily used and out of warranty. Screen seems original. I can see bad scratch front and back.

Be very very careful and know you are taking your chance.

Did you try factory resetting your phone or inserting a SIM from another carrier? Usually the phone needs a network reset to reflect it being unlocked under settings. If that doesn't work, then I would definitely call in and say "when you text unlock to 611611, your phone shows unlocked and it was activated 60 days ago."

The problem with some of the refurbs is that the phone info didn't get reset to new owner activation so you may have to call Exec Resolution if unlock dept isn't willing to help. It can take several calls to find a rep that knows what they're doing. All my previous phones had more than 30 days but the other 11 I have hopefully will unlock this weekend & it only had 30 days - should know something definite by Sunday.
(BTW several of my iphone refurbs bought over the past 8 months have said not eligible for unlock when texting 611611 but I was able to finally get them unlocked after a couple of calls).

I have the same experience, iphone does NOT automatic unlock after 60 days as some people claimed here : (
Text "unlock" to 611611 it does response with message indicate "Congratulations you phone is now unlocked..." however the iphone still have SIM LOCK. Maybe because I didn't buy 2nd month service? Call and chat with TF their customer service, it's like a jock, they just said someone will call you back in 15 minutes but no one ever calls back.
