Please be very very careful. You might receive screen replaced phone, which is bad quality. I think some people received used good phone and some received screen replaced phone. You know you are taking your chance and return is such an hassle. Some people in the previous deal received brand new unactivated phone, but I think it is just rare case.


1st phone has white spot and sent to Apple. Apple denied the warranty due to 3rd party modification, and I think the screen is replaced. Still under warranty until 04/22, which is useless.

2nd phone, screen is cracked and screen is replaced too. Still under warranty until 03/22, which is useless too.

3rd phone, heavily used and out of warranty. Screen seems original. I can see bad scratch front and back.

Be very very careful and know you are taking your chance.

Yes, a number of users have reported auto unlock on day 61 in the past. Occasionally, a reset or something may be needed on your end also. You can do a free Apple basic info check at Sickw dot com and if it shows unlocked there, that's likely the case.

Try to update the ios or connect to a PC iTunes.

This user linked below reported that 611611 showed his phone as unlocked on day 60, but it didn't actually unlock until day 63. Sickw is a good reference … if it shows locked there, nothing you do on your end will help. But once that site shows unlocked, it's time to try things with the phone.

They usually don't ship on weekends so you probably won't get an update till Monday or Tuesday when phone actually gets shipped out.
Hopefully they haven't oversold it and cancel orders like they did with the XR deals.

These can be unlocked in 60 days and you only need to pay for a month of service. I think you need to pay for like 6 month of service with Metro. A lot of people just want an unlocked phone, not the service. Or for trading in, they just want the cheapest thing possible because new or used doesn't matter.

some people avoid metro because of the shady reps.
That $160 deal can turn to $200-$250 with extra services/accessories that the reps might add.

I actually did that iPhone 11 deal back around February. I managed to get 2 iPhone 11 for around $370 total, I forget the exact amount that I paid.

I had a nice rep, the only thing she added was the insurance which I had no issues with.

unlock wise, you have to wait 6 months on metro. Mine Should unlock sometime in mid august...hopefully it goes well.

Total wireless = 60 days

i passed on metro because they were in store only, and stores may not have the phone. Wanted a 128gb SE 22 which was listed as part of the deal, but no store had them.

I purchased a reconditioned iPhone 11 from TW two months ago when they were $200. I activated on May 19 and didn't add a second month of service. Today July 17, I received a text from 611611 saying the phone was unlocked. Settings already show "No SIM restrictions".

Same here. I bought the iPhone 11 at $200 and activated mine on the May 17th with only one month of service. 611611 says unlock date was supposed to be July 18th. I checked under settings and "No SIM Restrictions"
