Battery capacity is NOT listed (probably not a very proud number).
Case material is also not listed (all plastic?)

Swifts are aluminum.

The 2022 model got a lot of little updates, like no more barrel charging port, now has a small 65W USB-C charger. Lot of bang for this price. Wish the keyboard was still black.

Better than UHD but not quite as good as vega which is not as good as rdna2 so no not really for gaming.
I think Iris Xe is faster than any Vega. It's about 2x the speed of the useless-for-gaming UHD graphics.

Man good deal. Was 599 shortly on July 4th. Looks good. When I went to the store, it felt cheap and unsubstantial. ACER quality. Get the HP elitebook for 549 through Hp EPP. Much nicer deal.....
What's Hp EPP?

Well here's a video of the two compared, in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdQJ3qdv5Gs

Assassin's Creed Valhalla - winner Vega
CS:GO - winner Vega
Death Stranding - winner Vega
Deus Ex - winner Iris Xe
Dota 2 - winner Vega
F1 2020 - winner Vega
Hellblade - winner Iris Xe
Shadow of War - winner Iris Xe
Skyrim - tie
Strange Brigade - winner Vega
Tomb Raider - tie

Ok lets say Vega and Iris Xe are evenly matched?

That model has a 5625U vs 5825U here and 8gb ram vs 16gb.

What $550 Elitebook are you talking about?

What is a "Fully clickable OceanGlass™ Touchpad?" Is it actually a glass touchpad? Love me some glass touchpads. My current Surface has a glass touchpad.
It's plastic. Recycled ocean plastic which is very misleading calling it glass. It does however feel pretty good. Comparing it to a few other laptops I have and so far I'd say it has the best feel, not glass, but not bad. I had been using the Lenovo Ideapad 5 pro for a couple weeks before I returned that and this trackpad is way nicer in comparison.

It was an HP elitebook 845 with a ryzen pro 5625u with 8 gigs 512 megs and and 400 nit screen. Upgradable too with 3 year warranty. not Apple to apples versus this swift but much better deal IMHO

bought this online and found it in-store for same price...waste of Shipping and handling fees...funny part is in-store employees said return it to get SH fees and they don't price match with online price (also told me consider costco.com as totally separate company...found it odd)

Gaming?
The Acer Swift X is the 'gaming version'. Low power gpu though, to keep the heat down. My revision has a 3050ti.

Once again, Costco's 'specs' page is done by someone who isn't buying things.

Thanks OP for adding 4 to Thunderbolt, and weight.

At 2.76lbs, that does check a LOT of boxes.

There was something I can't remember about win11 pro vs home - does pro allow video card selection? Doesn't much matter since it's a laptop and allows switching in home and the second card HAS to be outside . . .

That makes sense. I promise Big Grin

Wish there was something similar using the 6800u instead. But quite nice if willing to deal with Intel
