Does D-Link still have the same crappy web interface they have had for years?
Yes they are.
I just got the DIR-3040 and found the crappy interface, I updated the firmware to the lates and still the same but what happned is it screwed the router and couldn't flash it back to the original 2019 firmware, I am taking it back.
