The Segway F40 model is $190 off , if bought directly from the Segway site. Way better in terms of distance and a little more speed for only $100 more

For a kid, you don't want to get anything that goes too fast. I've seen adults flying off these scooters and severely injuring themselves. With that said, after a very quick search, here is one:

This F25 is only 183 Wh, it's basically a kid's scooter.

The F30 with 275 Wh was a much better deal for about the same price:
