Probably not. This is mostly designed for the with 3-5 year old age range and children that are under 50lbs. At 8 your older child is already pushing it and will outgrow the set almost immediately.

That said, if you have really little kids in the 3-6 year old range this is probably an OK buy. it's not very sturdy and your kids will outgrow it in a couple years but for $90 it's good enough and there's really nothing else in this price range.

I have this. The best thing about it is the teeter totter. It's not well built. You will need to purchase your own anchors. My kids are rough on stuff so I don't feel like it will last.

Def not, at 5 I'd say it's pushing it. It's ok for 2-3 yr olds.

500lbs total capacity at 5 kids at 100lbs each. At least that's what our's said for the model we have similar to this, but has the saucer swing on it. Great for our 41" tall 3 year old. Not well suited past our slim 9 year old for the swings. Big kids could easily tip this over, and definitely would not enjoy how fast their feet hit ground on the slide. I also picked it up for only $59 back before Easter though.
