I just called Boost , their customer service barely spoke English
got transferred to the cancelation department
the woman named Amanda told me that this is the price and the device is prepaid and I will not be charged if I don't use the device
If I want to use the device then I can buy a plan from their website.

I hope this helps

Any limitations On How I Use My Device? If you get a Device from DISH Wireless or a DISH Wireless authorized retailer without paying full price (MSRP) for the Device, you agree (1) within 60 days to activate and use this Device on the DISH Wireless network and (2) not to resell, trade in, or export, or participate or profit in the resale, trade in, or export of the Device to a third party until you have activated and used the Device on the DISH Wireless network and met all your other financial and contractual obligations to us. If you do this without meeting your obligations, we reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary, including charging you for the difference between the Device's full price and the price you paid for it, and seeking recovery of related damages. If you have a separate agreement with Boost to acquire, purchase, or lease a Device, any restrictions on resale in that agreement will also apply, so please refer to the terms of any such agreement to understand your rights to resell your Device. Any tampering with, reprogramming, reflashing, or unlocking of this Device without DISH Wireless's permission violates DISH Wireless's and third parties' rights under state and federal laws and could subject you to civil or criminal liability.

I just did as well but because i used paypal, it was quite convoluted and it still can ship. Really not easy to cancel. I should have read the fine prints.
I also ordered with Paypal, so I called in, got transferred to the technical support dept. They requested a cancellation for me and got a ticket # from them. I don't know if it will go through correctly though. :\

Check your local public library. Recently, some started renting out free mobile hotspot devices. When I mentioned this, they just rented one out to me no questions asked using my library card. It uses Tmobile 5g. I just use the library app to renew the hotspot rental. Only renewed it once so far so not sure how many times I'll be able to keep renewing.

Where is the fine print? I cannot see it and I can always start a dispute through my credit card company. It is clearly not visible and I printed the webpage just in case.

The terms and conditions are located right next to the "accept" box you click right before finalizing the order. Unfortunately since you must accept the terms before placing the order, no bank/cc company will side with the customer on this one. You can always cancel or return it, though.

I have an existing active Boost sim card (AT&T). I'm assuming I can activate the hotspot using that sim card?

Naw, the information on the page is misleading. It doesn't mention a plan, or requiring activation. Your cc will back you up on a chargeback. Take a screenshot and a Xanax.

Nevermind. I just called my credit card and both were reversed.
Reversed for $1 charges, you are insane to ruin the deal!
