That's also just one of the examples. What about huge apps?
What about the maps I have to use with my GPS app offline? Do you expect me to not store those on my device and download from the cloud when the entire purpose of having them there in the first place is for when I don't have signal?

Ear buds are a different story due to cleanliness reasons, but I still think buying them refurbished and getting new tips will save you a lot of money for the same experience

I JUST traded in the S21U because it was essentially a free upgrade - $1,000 trade in + Watch 4 Classic + 13% off Rak. Hope they fix some things on the one next year, but don't mind making money on the releases lol - +$2,200 (and like 3 sets of buds) or so on S22U + S8U release this year.

I know, I fell for this gimmick for my s22 ultra. They gave a $1000 trade in after instead of 850, plus other credits , and prime day they gave watch classic lte, which can be easily sold on eBay. After all this, the phone will be close to free
