I recently got some EcoFlow items for the first time during the Prime day sales, and I have to say, very nice quality items. From the packaging, build quality to the application, very well done.

Some of these deals seem like a decent price, but prime day was a whole other level, I got the 160W solar panel for $279 and the Delta Mini for $679.

The materials of the solar panel are so nice and manufactured with pride, the Delta solid yet light. I cannot recall the last time I have opened a box and actually said to myself, "Wow, that packaging is actually very nice".

Code HAPPYSUMMER takes an extra 5% off, i.e. $17.45 off the River Combo and $34.95 off the River Pro Combo.

Considering I just paid $230 for the River with 60W solar panel combo and $150 for an extra battery during the Prime day sales, I'd say this is pretty slick with the extra 5% off coupon.

The coupon code EFHOBOTECH20 took a flat $20 off, which is a little more than the $17.45 for the River combo.

Get a LiFePO4, not worth spending several hundred bucks on something that lasts maybe 3 years.

How are you using your unit that would only have this power station last only 3 years. It has 800 charge/discharge cycles before capacity is reduce to 80%. Even at 80% would still have some usefulness. That's if you fully charge and discharge it every day. I expect the Delta Mini I got during Prime Day to last at least 5+ years at which point LiFePO4 should improve in price and weight and I could upgrade. I agree with others that I've been impressed with EcoFlow build quality and performance so far.

LiFePo4 in theory has a longer life cycle but that assuming the other components last just as long. Cell phones use Li-ion batteries for weight and size consideration (Li-ion is much more energy dense vs LiFePo4), and I've used a cell phone for over 5 years without any issues - charging and discharging every single day. I doubt most people will be pulling at least 0.8C from their generators every day. On the other hand, if you're building you're own unit, where you can swap out components as they go bad, then go with a LiFePo4 battery. At this price, capacity, quality, weight, and brand (service), I don't think you can do much better.

If you are planning on doing a full charge/discharge once a day for 3 years, this isn't the right product for you.

"Generator"

Should be called a big battery pack, these dont generate power, they simply store it.

I've seen comments on similar past products that you shouldn't trust them to work in the scenario where you charge them up initially but then just use them once in a while for emergency situations. Is that the case with this one too?

I know you're trying to be smart but your conventional Gas Generator isn't a generator either. It only converts stored fossil fuel to usable electric power.

That sounds like a generator to me
