No, not as you said. When you say 600-700 watts per day, that means nothing. Now, if you meant that it AVERAGES 600-700W over a 24 hour period, which would be approximately 15.6kWh, that means something definitive.

You need to get your units straight, and refer to them correctly. I do have a background in applied physics, and am not trying to be rude or combative. I'm trying to help clarify for others reading.

If it is consuming 650W average over a 24hr period, it sounds extremely inefficient. Monitor it's kWh usage over a 72 hour period and divide by 72 to get kWh/h, which equals kW. Multiply that by 1000 to get average wattage over 72 hours.

I know you're trying to be smart but your conventional Gas Generator isn't a generator either. It only converts stored fossil fuel to usable electric power.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states that Energy cannot be created nor destroyed.

The coupon code EFHOBOTECH20 took a flat $20 off, which is a little more than the $17.45 for the River combo.โ€‹

Your Gas Generator cannot output electricity without Gas. It doesn't come with gas when you buy it.

This Battery pack is the same thing. It will not output electricity without Solar Panels to charge it. It doesn't come with Solar Panel just like the Gas Generator doesn't come with Gas. But you can also charge this by using the outlet... just like other Gas generator can also use propane.

No offense, but with your definition, nothing can be called a generator.... even the Sun...

After watching this on youtube along with several other videos showing lithium nmc batteries exploding, I refuse to buy a solar station that uses them. Just not worth risking a home, car or rv fire. https://youtu.be/1qOM5ih0IHg

If you need a smaller solar station the bluetti eb3a is best in class and price with the 90 off coupon on amazon. I like eco flow products yet will not purchase one until they make the switch to lithium phosphate batteries and by choosing to vote with my money by purchasing the bluetti eb3a and the rockpals 600 now with the hope that will push other companies to make the switch sooner to the safer and longer cycles technology.

How are you using your unit that would only have this power station last only 3 years. It has 800 charge/discharge cycles before capacity is reduce to 80%. Even at 80% would still have some usefulness. That's if you fully charge and discharge it every day. I expect the Delta Mini I got during Prime Day to last at least 5+ years at which point LiFePO4 should improve in price and weight and I could upgrade. I agree with others that I've been impressed with EcoFlow build quality and performance so far.
Like everything else there is a good, better, best option. Not everyone needs best so this is a good option.
I may NOT need lifepo4 but I'd rather have it. Lifepo4 not only lasts longer, but also lighter and safer. to each his own.

You will still need solar charge controller, a DC to USB to charge your USB devices. Add another for AC charge controller if you want to charge it using the grid. Then you'll end up paying $200. Not to mention, Deep cycle batteries are heavy and can only be used 50% of their capacity to preserve longevity otherwise, you'll end up sulfating it.

If you want to spend $200 anyways, then just get this. https://slickdeals.net/f/15917350-bluetti-eb3a-portable-power-station-209

A gas GENERATOR has everything it needs to generate electricity from a fuel source. This BATTERY does not have everything it needs to generate electricity from a fuel source. It requires solar panels to do so. In your analogy, this would be a gas generator without an engine which would no longer be called a generator but instead a MOTOR. Gas or propane is the fuel source for a gas GENERATOR, sunlight would be the fuel source for a solar GENERATOR. Again, seeing as this does not have the capability to generate electricity if you feed it sunlight, it can not be called a GENERATOR, just like if you poured gasoline on a MOTOR.

I recently got some EcoFlow items for the first time during the Prime day sales, and I have to say, very nice quality items. From the packaging, build quality to the application, very well done.

Some of these deals seem like a decent price, but prime day was a whole other level, I got the 160W solar panel for $279 and the Delta Mini for $679.

The materials of the solar panel are so nice and manufactured with pride, the Delta solid yet light. I cannot recall the last time I have opened a box and actually said to myself, "Wow, that packaging is actually very nice".
I ordered the Delta Mini and cancelled the order during prime. It really depends on your use case. I needed time under power over the ability to handle higher wattage, so I chose the extra 600 Wh for $20 this deal offers. You are absolutely right about the packaging, it's extremely well executed.

I understand completely. Really seems to be the same when discussing calling EVSE (Electric vehicle supply equipment) chargers when talking about electric cars. The charger is in the car, but common naming vs. naming items based on what they really are/do is nothing new. Names should help people understand item usage, true or not to what it is/does.

Then you are not getting your money back if you don't use it everyday.

Also, what's wrong in choosing something that is the same price but will last 5 times longer?
I wonder how many buyung these power stations are using them every day to get their moneys worth? Are you using one every day? I bought one to use for road trips to power our 12v fridge and to charge personal devices , for car camping, and rolling blackouts here in California. What comparable LiFePO4 power station on the market can one get for the same price? I'd like to get one of those too.
