there are two versions of this cooler. the dark blue and the light blue. the light blue (See attached pic) is a very different design and does a much better job keeping items cold. rivals much more expensive coolers without the high price tag.

I can't seem to find that version anywhere on the Walmart site.
I have this one, had it for a couple of years now, it's good. Not sure about 5 days, but it keeps ice and the slowly resulting ice bath for 2-3 days without a problem.
If i am spending 5 days straight in 110-degree heat would this keep ice cold and frozen?
I read many reviews on this cooler. This cooler is junk according to countless reviews claiming this cooler is barely better than the worst coolers you can buy and ice melts in a day or two.
I almost pulled the trigger but thankfully read the reviews and then saw videos on Youtube of 5-day cooler competition and sure enough, this 5-day Coleman is a complete fraud and misrepresentation of it's claimed capabilities to the max!
I have a Coleman cooler rated for five days. I'd say that it'll keep ice for about three days under normal situations (80-90 degrees outside, cooler is half ice/half stuff you want to keep cold). I can't imagine paying for a high end cooler just to get the actual five days unless you had a really specific use-case that demanded it.

I used two of the dark blue 50 qt ones with the wheels in the back for several years, and I thought they did very well. They didn't seem to perform any worse than my buddy's *ahem* "sasquatch" cooler when we went to TN together in the summer, and that cost like 10x as much. I use a couple of Lifetime coolers now. They test and review very well but I'm honestly not sure they're any better than these Colemans.

There are real world scenarios that call for 5-6 day coolers. If you are boondocking for a week or something and there is literally nowhere around to buy more ice, they make sense. If you are traveling in populated areas, yeah, just spend another $4 on more ice in three days.
This is a good cooler. I bought it years ago on clearance for $15. Works well,
Is this a yeti? No! But the price point is not terrible for what it does.
