Basically an overpriced laptop missing screen and battery, and bigger. Might as well get a laptop and break off the screen. Lol

This is a 15W CPU configuration, so slower than an 11th-Gen NUC @ 28W for about the same money.

It's not a bad idea, but paying a premium for the niche packaging will be it's downfall.

These [amazon.com] exist already. And with USB PD set to go up to 240w, You'll be able to get to a single power cord for a lightweight desktop without this proprietary setup.
Amazon link didn't work. What am I looking for?

If you never heard of the dell Optiplex, it's the business class computer. So every office, bank, businesses buy these up by the hundreds and thousands every year. And this wouldn't take up any space on a desk. This appears to connect to the back of an existing monitor. So if anyone is looking to have a desktop with their monitor without taking up space, it's a pretty good solution.

this is even more useless
Actually. This won't take up any space on a desk compared to a NUC. So in actuality this is more useful than a nuc

It would make sense if it had a decent CPU, but it's slower than most modern laptops. i5-1145G7 is just a 4-core CPU with not so good performance scores. Roughly comparable to AMD Ryzen 3 5425U.

The only positive about this thing is its form factor, it replaces a monitor stand.

probably cheaper to just get all-in-one desktop.

computers keep getting smaller, but under the end users desk ,it is still packed full of boxes, space heaters and file folders... and dust bunnies, lots of dust bunnies.
