I have one. I would skip it tbh.

The 6E is kinda useless (outside of my single AX210 client). It only makes sense if you're planing on a wireless backhaul with 2 of them.

6Ghz speeds are more than fine (even @ 20-30FT) since you're going to be the only one using the 6ghz spectrum lol

Newegg ran a special on the regular GT-AX11000 a few weeks ago for $300. More practical router with the same Gen 1 radios and CPU setup.. You get a second functional radio at least Smilie

AX11000 PRO [asus.com] is basically a second gen version of the GT-AX11000. New CPU, New radios, 2.5+10G, UNII-4 5G (needs clients to be updated/supported like 6E, but both radios are functional with traditional clients, AXE11000 isnt..).

There will be a V2 or revision of AXE11000 down the road since it uses the older gen 1 hardware. BCM43684 (main radio) will be phased out in the next year or two.

Entry routers like the AX58U "v2" already switched to BCM6756 SoCs (native 160mhz support) instead of using the BCM43684 (2x2 mode) for 5G.
