Hi juddev,

Unfortunately we can not process refunds and only Boost Customer care is able to via phone call. I an submit this to our team here so that they can have visibility but you will need to call care to get this refund.

I call back boost customer service and after getting the run around they finally say they will process my refund and I would be getting it in 2-3 working days. That was over a week ago and so I call again today and the agent this time tells me its past the 14 days and they now cant give me a refund, which means they lied to me last week. I finally get sent to a supervisor and she tells me because it is a 3 month sim card that their policy is not to refund them and to contact my bank and dispute the charge.

This Company is as Shady as Freedompop ever was.

Just had a similarly terrible experience with customer service. Sim card never arrived and after 3 separate phone calls with customer service claiming I just needed to wait longer and eventually that they couldn't find my order or account I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. Was given a complete runaround by their agents to the point where even if the sim card finally showed up after a month I still wouldn't use this service.

Tried to activate for a week now.

Enter all the port in info just to get "Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later." - for a week! Tried diff browsers even different PC/laptop - same results.

No issues logging into account (on PC) except on iPhone - kept getting "Oops something went wrong, please try again later" cryptic, useless error message. Uninstalled and reinstalled Boost One app - same results. Same username, same password, completely diff screw up.

Utter amateur hour.

So, I'm wondering if anybody has run into similar problems as I have…
I signed up for the account online. After two weeks (!) I FINALLY received the SIM card in the mail. I followed the directions that came with the SIM, and went to boostmobile.com/welcome to register the SIM.
Here are the many problems I'm encountering:

1. When I try to register the SIM I get a message, stating that there is no active account - even though the Boost app shows my account information correctly.

2. There is already an unknown phone's IMEI showing on my account, even though I have yet to enter one.

3. When I try to change my IMEI to be MY phone's IMEI, I get prompted to enter my phone number and PIN, but I receive a message that one and/or the other is incorrect, so I get no further.

4. When I attempt the "Forgot PIN" link (even though I already know my PIN is correct), I get a database error message, stating that my phone number cannot be found. (I entered the phone number showing in Boost One app).

5. I contacted Boost three separate times to have them correct the IMEI number.
The first person first said she would make the change, but the system was currently down.
The second person said he had changed the IMEI to match my phone, but 24 hours later, it's still showing the original, incorrect IMEI.
The third person could not find my account by phone number, ICCID number, or either IMEI. She then told me that the account should be in the new system, and transferred me to a different department.
The fourth person had similar results with searching for my account, but somehow found it. Although she sounded more knowledgeable, she was unable to get my IMEI to be accepted by the system.

So here I am. I still cannot use their service.

Although the last agent said it shouldn't be an issue; I'm wondering if the problem is that I'm attempting to use the IMEI of an unlocked AT&T iPhone X that is still on an active AT&T account. I took out the AT&T SIM out a few days ago, and have left the Boost SIM in, but to no avail.
Even if that were the problem, that doesn't explain why my new account already has somebody else's phone on it.

Does anybody have any tips for me (other than just giving up on Boost)?

Just an update on my service. I have had it active for a bit over two weeks now and this deal has been solid. I got service up in the mountains at high altitudes 9000+, that I never received on any other providers (other than AT&T).

I am definitely not getting remotely close to the same speed an actual AT&T user is getting, but at least I am getting service and some data when traveling to those places now.

I have used their "Boost One" app as well and have already earned $145.56 of account credit with their daily wheel spin, ad videos, and completing offers for playing certain mobile games. Not purchase offers, but ones for just playing the games. The biggest was almost $70 for completing Chapter 17 in the game AFK Arena which took just under a week, and another $28 for drawing 3 5* heroes from some game called Call of Antia.

Just the daily wheel spin alone is earning me about $15 a week for clicking spin, and nothing else. No ads to watch or anything. I am really kinda surprised they give away so much credit and cannot see it remaining with the amount they give out right now.

Boost mobile is very wierd . Anyone knows how to unlock boost mobile phone? I purchased a S22 ultra from Boostmobile deal and couldn't find a way to unlock it

General Eligibility for Unlocking

Boost Mobile will assist with unlocking a device under the following circumstances:
  • The device is SIM unlock capable
  • The device has not been reported as lost or stolen or otherwise flagged as ineligible to be unlocked
  • The device has been active on the associated account for at least 12 months
  • The associated account is active and in good standing
If you believe you meet the above requirements and would like to request that your DSU-capable device be unlocked, contact Boost Mobile Customer Care by dialing 1-833-50-BOOST (833-502-6678).

The my.boostmobile.com site now says this deal runs through 8/25. Hadn't noticed that before. I hope they extend as I haven't made up my mind yet.
