Since Nov 2021 I have owned the GoLabs R300. The honeymoon was short lived. I have maybe 100 battery cycles and now when the battery is around 35% it will drop to 20% within seconds.
The DC port has never worked.
It takes about 2 hours longer to charge via solar compared to my JACKERY 300
I ended up giving it away.

Passtrough AC seem to be problematic according to amazon review. Also the 12V DC plug is loose.
I got this last time it was posted. Can confirm that passthrough will always fail after about 1 hour. Doesn't matter if using solar or AC power. GOlabs support said to go ahead and return it.

Ticks pretty much all the boxes for me. LifePo (even though that isn't a requirement at this wh/price). PD usbc input for ease of charging, built in MPPT. Comes with wall, car, and solar charging cables.

Biggest negative is probably questionable warranty. Woot only gives you 90 days, not sure if you'll get anything extra from golabs.

Set off my LiFePo4 alert. This is better than Prime Day. Bluetti EB3A is good too at $209 but the 268 Wh is too low for some. At this price, this isn't bad at all considering that just a plain LiFePo4 battery with BMS costs roughly $4/(12v1Ah).

Biggest downside is the pass-through charging bug. If you are charging the battery (from AC, USB, or Solar) and using it to power something at the same time... it will shut off after 1 hour or less. If you are getting this to run something like a camping fridge/cooler, and hoping to charge it via solar while powering the fridge... don't get this unit.

Also, compared to other units of this size it charges much more slowly.

Other than that, it's a solid unit and good $/watt-hour.

I have the R300 and use it every week since January 2021. I only use the USB C port to charge it and then power my electronics (laptop, tablet, etc) from the same USB C. Works well for that and never had a problem. For the price, I can't really complain. I'm sure you can pay more for a unit that's more efficient or actually has the full advertised battery capacity.

Damn I was gonna return the BLUETTI eb3a for this but reading these comments really helped overturn that decision.

Bluetti is still the better value. And still has the same deal for prime day with the 90 dollar off coupon

So it's a known issue? Did they say if it could be resolved with a future software update?

I have the R300. big thanks to everyone talking about the 1 hour AC shut off issue! I kept wondering why my cooler was shutting off on road trips! Otherwise I've been happy with it though. I also have the jackery 300 and I like it much better. My ac200p bluetti has been great as well, I use it full time. Just ordered the new small bluetti. Hope it's awesome!

The passthrough issue doesn't bother me. I don't plan on on charging and powering anything at the same time. Treating this strictly as a high-capacity portable power bank
