For those that care:
it's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, lacks HDMI 2.1, and doesn't support variable refresh rate technology (VRR)

The missing features are easily worth an extra $100.

Because this isn't the C1. 60hz panel and other features are huge downgrades worth paying an extra 100 for.

For those who don't game, this is better than any mid class or higher end non-gaming VA panel anyways.

Agreed. But for the price, it definitely should be better.

I will point out this TV is quite a bit dimmer than the C1. I have an older B9 and it's in the basement because it doesn't handle reflections well and isn't bright enough for a well lit room. The B9 is brighter than this to put things into perspective. 500 nits just isn't enough for HDR.

Dang, only 60hz? This would have been a fantastic virtual pinball table playfield otherwise.

An OLED is an OLED. Be it C1 or A1. If you are a hardcore gamer who plays only 120hz titles then C1 is definitely better. But trashing A1 outright on every thread makes no sense. PQ on A1 still remains unmatched, like all other LG Oleds. When I bought 65 A1 for $1K, I saved at least $350 compared with any 65 C1 deal.

Tempting as I would like an LG in my living room to match my LG sound bar. But un(fortunately) there's nothing wrong with my Sony 900f

deal on a C1

Was about to pull the trigger and then realized this is an A1 not C1.

Agreed, but I think you have to put value into perspective. What others are saying is that for an additional $100 you could get a C1 with loads more features that actually significantly impact the overall experience. If this was like half the price of a C series, then I'd agree completely, but considering that this budget model is less than $100 off the mainstream flagship, this isn't that great of a deal.

Seems Best Buy price matched [bestbuy.com]? Can't tell if it's the same model. Some decent open box deals on the Best Buy page too (though I think that's location-dependent)
