Almost the same price as the Asrock 6900XT Phantom Gaming D. This is a shorter card at 320mm compared to the Asrock's 330mm

Pretty good deal.

FYI, for those looking for an even shorter card. The Gigabyte 6900XT Gaming OV card is only 286mm.

Not on sale right now but I got it for 730 after rebate so it may go on sale again.

These are crazy good cards, plays horizon 5 and warzone on max at 1440p ultrawide. For some reason I cannot play fortnite. Assuming poor optimization.

Clearly don't have any idea
Yeah that's not entirely accurate I agree. They're about at parity all considered, but I'm avoiding the 3XXX series 3070 Ti and above because of GDDR6X VRAM thermal issues.

I believe the 6900 XT uses GDDR6, which, running in these TUF cards that I've personally had fantastic luck with, should be a swell card.

As for pricing? I'd hold out longer.

Personally I went with the ASRock OC formula AIB 6900xt for $879 I actually just installed it last night and this thing RIPS. I think having the higher binned XTXH chip is well worth the extra few bucks. If u have to buy now def try and go with a 6900xt that has xtxh

A better binned chip might net you 5% better performance for 15% more cost. Definitely doesn't sound like a better value then the $730 gigabyte.

Stock for stock? Sure but when you factor in that chip with the 3rd 8pin power connector that (the tuf doesn't have) ur really limiting yourself on much more oc potential. The cooler is much better as well.

Although I agree with you, I think where the advantages are aren't with a stock comparison.

I just cant get myself to buy Gigabyte after the troubles they had last year and just losing peoples returns as they got hacked etc.

If you consider and add in the entire cost of your PC, it's worth it.

Ackchyually, across a ~50 game benchmarks, the 3080 12gb was 3% faster. (I know its not alot, but its faster)

Just grabbed a 6800XT Red Devil (a brand I wanted) for $580 in the returns section of Amazon. The new ones are $670 right now. If you can live with "only" the 6800XT (I wanted it because I 'only' have a 650W PSU) the pricing is competitive, particularly if you wanted the Red Devil design, OC'ing, etc.

I'm confused, the gigabyte has 3 8-pin power connectors as well.

On some Amazon items pages, you can see the "Used" section on the right, under the normal price. In that section you can frequently find great deals.
