I've used this model for years. Good, comfortable ergonomics and performance. The rubber on the side where your thumb sits does wear off after a couple of years though. Not so much where it smears on your fingers. It's just rubbed away like a remote control button that's gotten heavy use. It's not a big deal and not at all bothersome.

Battery life is great and the light in the middle will slowly blink red when it's time to replace it. If you install the Logitech software it'll tell you when it's getting low too.

This mouse feels like it'll last forever, unlike others I've had where the index and middle finger clickers began to weaken and lose their tactile feel. The springs in these buttons are still going strong.

I bought this deal the last time it rolled around a few months ago because it was around $11. I still haven't opened the package as I'm still using the one I had. I prefer the black color, but this blue is fine.

Have been using the same M510 as my work mouse for 5+ years now. A small bit of rubber wear on the sides, otherwise still perfect condition. Highly recommended. Would be in for a spare, but not available at my local store.

OOS for deal. Just bought this on Amazon a few days ago for $23.

Love these mice. Find them comfortable, responsive, and most importantly, the only ones I could find with the aforementioned characteristics and a page fwd/back button (left side, lateral).

I have large hands, if that helps anyone, it's a "normal" size, not small/micro.

I need a couple of decent wireles mice, any one have experience with this model?
Yeah, the 27,000+ Amazon customers who provided ratings or reviews, just so people don't have to ask questions like this.

Little technicality: The thumb buttons are only on one side right? So it wouldn't exactly be ambidextrous even if the shape of the mouse is symmetrical. (and do they make them on both sides?)
Correct. The two thumb buttons are only on the left so it's not exactly an ambidextrous mouse.

Grabbed one last time it went Frontpage. Very happy with purchase. Easy store pick that was ready in less than an hour.

I have this and the m720. This a great mouse, but I do prefer the m720. But this one tends to be cheaper.

I've had the black version of this mouse for about 4 years now, still works great and can confirm that this review is entirely accurate. It's a great mouse all around and I highly suggest everyone else picks one up if they can.

I use it both lefty and righty and it works well. The button is in a good spot where lefty, you can use your ring finger to click back or forward.

I've been using this mouse since 2013 as my primary mouse. Per my purchase history and Logitech warranty replacement history, I'm now on my 5th one so they last ~2 years each. Usually it's the middle button that fails first.

Logitech used to be nice about giving warranty replacements outside of the warranty period but they're stricter about it now. Also warranty replacements take a while so I usually just buy another mouse to use in the interim and then give away the replacement mouse when it arrives.
I have owned two, blue and black. For me they double click after a few years. The blue one double clicks the right button and the black double clicks the left.

If you don't know, you can scroll web pages side to side using the wheel as a left to right button or a right to left button. I never knew this until a week or two ago, and I owned two mice for several years.

They don't last long. Usually die at 2.5 yr mark. When i say die i mean it just taking signals from the computer
