I've used this model for years. Good, comfortable ergonomics and performance. The rubber on the side where your thumb sits does wear off after a couple of years though. Not so much where it smears on your fingers. It's just rubbed away like a remote control button that's gotten heavy use. It's not a big deal and not at all bothersome.

Battery life is great and the light in the middle will slowly blink red when it's time to replace it. If you install the Logitech software it'll tell you when it's getting low too.

This mouse feels like it'll last forever, unlike others I've had where the index and middle finger clickers began to weaken and lose their tactile feel. The springs in these buttons are still going strong.

I bought this deal the last time it rolled around a few months ago because it was around $11. I still haven't opened the package as I'm still using the one I had. I prefer the black color, but this blue is fine.

I bought two of these at a Best Buy sale a couple of months ago. As of now, they are working as expected.

Complete Crap. This has a issue with double clicking. Replaced several times but still an issue. DONT BUY. spend some money and buy MX Master from Logitech

I have multiple of these mice (in the black color though) and have been using them ambidextrously for over a decade. I'm using one in my left hand right now. For my work/home setup, I keep a separate mouse between work and personal computer even though I have a switch to toggle a single keyboard between both computers.

At least for me, it's really easy to hit the back/forward button with my left middle finger. For back - I push it in with my first inside knuckle. For forward - I push with the furthest inside knuckle.
I use the side buttons for F5 & enter and the scroll wheel for forward and back

It's a good mouse, it is just that every time OD or Staples has a sale on mouses it is out of stock the day before and usually they only have 2 or 3 on hand right before the sale.
So what is the point?
Foot traffic?
They been doing this for decades and I am guessing it is for in store traffic.

My favorite. Maybe I need a spare... but the two I have are working great for 10+ years now. Unifying receiver is the balls.

I actually have a few extra receivers collected from over the years. PM me if you need an extra.

Just wanted to chime in to say I've used this mouse with X-Mouse Button Control for years. This mouse is more than worth the cost and X-Mouse button control is an amazing piece of free software that lets you map all of the buttons including the scroll wheel left / right tilt buttons, middle button etc. to whatever function you please. I use my side scroll buttons to snap windows to different monitors. Many thanks to the developer! As an added bonus, no Logitech software needs to be installed to make the magic happen. Highly recommended!

Been using these since they came out. Will never use anything else. Bought out the rest of my local store. 8 units. I go through 2 a year as a power user. Give away my used units that still work just like new to nieces and nephews and others. I cannot afford to not have a working one or two on hand. If you have larger hands, it may not be ideal. But fit mine perfectly and does everything I use it for. Scroll, back, forth, clicks, right click options. I probably use my mouse more than most anyone here. This model just doesn't die. Later I will hear from a nice or nephew that the scroll button fails, but that is usually couple years later. Manufacturing has been consistent. That is rare. Regular price on Amazon has been beyond nuts the past two years. Average person should get 5 years out of this or more.

This is a pretty good mouse, but I've switched to Bluetooth to free up a port and never worry about dongles.

This is the standard against which all sub-$50 wireless mice should be measured.

It is a great basic mouse from a great mouse brand.
