I read that this is their latest release and that as far as assembly goes, there's like 7 steps total to build the thing together. I think the screen is also touch screen and some other upgrades so seems like an even better buy for newbies within a okay price range. I personally got a ender 3 v2 and didn't have much difficulty setting that up. And I got that at half this price. print bed is also the second largest size they sell. pretty close to ender 5 plus which is around $500

Excellent printer, I got mine two weeks ago for $470. It works right out of the box, just make sure to check the rollers as they do come loose in shipping. I did upgrade the hot end to full metal. I bought the whole assembly for $23 on Amazon but if you just want to change the heatbreak its only $15 for the bimetal. I print PETG so its close the the limit on the existing heatbreak. I have the older V2 and I do appreciate the larger build volume. No need to get the Cr-10S. Did some other mods just to guide it down a bit more as well as the part cooler. but the printer is quite than some of my older printers like my Tevo.

The ender s1 pro is better. The main advantage of plus is print volume.

Both plus and pro beat ender 3 v2 by miles. Plus and pro have direct drives which allow you to print a lot more different filaments.

Bad mobo, bad extruder and bad wiring harness. Its not that the printer failed but just the overall delay in getting parts. For example, they approved the new wiring harness on 8/1. I gave them my address and I followed up today and they said they'd get it out this week. So they forgot to mail it. And it comes from china. So it will be here in 2 weeks. The extruder was on back order, so that took them 3 weeks to get to me.
