Aldi's has been driving me crazy lately. Every time I go back I see an item (non-food) I bought days previous reduced another 50%. Everything seems to hit 75% off if it is there long enough

Yeah this past month and a half to two months I've been noticing a lot of Aldi Finds are going on sale lately. Easily 50% off but I've been waiting for the 75% off on certain items and yet they aren't dropping. Been on the shelf for a month and no discount whatsoever. But they have chairs at 75% off and no one is buying them.

Can't speak for Aldi specifically but the major chains (Walmart, Target, etc) are heavily overstocked[bloomberg.com] on a lot of "covid-era" stuff like clothing and outdoor furniture and are having to use heavy discounted to get them moving,.
I just saw this at my Aldi, they were around $89, but hard pass for me on a 13" cut. Plus I don't trust I could get replacement batteries 2 years from now.

$59, I'm think getting 2. Get 2 of everything which is excellent for $120. But I agree $90 for one isn't so great for a 13" which is only 12" cut (super small, my weed wacker might be bigger than this).

Do they have an online stock checker?
I doubt it. Aldi suppose to cut cost and stock checker would cost more.
Great deal of you can find one. For that price of buy a second one just for the batteries and additional charger.
If you need the spare batteries… lithium ion are chemical based so unused ones just sitting will age and actually age faster than ones that were used::.
