This is why you use your guest network with no LAN access for this kind of thing. Your google, amazon, and i devices all use Chinese chips with potential security issues, so keep those on the guest network too.

Chinese chips in routers too. It is not that prevelant at all. There are much bigger concerns and conspiracies to watch out for. Lock down by freezing your credit with all 3 credit bureaus and ease your mind. People are dumb enough to provide all the info that they need in other ways to do whatever with
