What's their return policy? I'm a Amazon Prime Member, is it free returns?

I bought this from woot last year. I love mine. It came like new. The extra battery on the shaft makes a huge difference in power. A friend got the es2 and my es3 just takes off so much faster.

I'd agree some of the handle bolts have loosened but with a little lock tite and allen wrench you can fix that.

Also from tire tread is wearing. Not sure how many miles I've put on mine but i don't think the tread loss is unreasonable. I have mine on sport mode which means faster takeoffs. That will wear tire faster. There's videos on YouTube on how to change tire when time comes. I think tire cost is $35ish.

How did you fix the issue? Hopefully it isn't completely dead. At about $1 per mile it doesn't sound like a good deal.
Just happened last week. Right now riding w/o the extra battery. Online I found that the mounting bracket for the external battery is poorly designed and will eventually warp. Next step I'll try is replacing that.

In terms of it being worth it or not, saved me $80/month in subway costs over at least 2 of those years, so worth it for me in that case. Not inoperable, just slower at the moment

Not a good scooter. Bolts that hold a handle at the bottom constantly get loose. Front tire gets bold right away. Motor is weak unless it is flat
For the price it's alright. Rather buy a Jetson or manual bike at this price. These lower end scooters are disposable

The Walmart refurb Bird scooters were ES3s branded and tweak for commercial purposes: no foldable handle or rear suspension. Still rocking one and lovin' it with another 1.5 years of warranty left.
I got mine at the Black Friday sale about two years ago for $200. Still running strong

Shoot. I bought the other one a week ago but it hasn't showed up yet. What has your experience been with either one?
Why dont you ask "do you own one?" Or even better, "have you actually used one?". Chances are, this person doesn't know what they are talking about and just replied because it's the internet. The value of their response should be interpreted consistent with that (meaning relax, they don't know).

That's somewhat disappointing, but not a deal breaker. I looked at the bracket and that part definitely looks a bit weak/plastic. I had my eye on electric scooters but my non-electric bike works well enough for now.

Does Segway has quality issues? So many lemon reviews. I assume the reason they have so many refurbs are the fact people returned the lemons.

Reading online the ESx series seems to be an inferior product. At least it's cheaper

The G30 Max lineup seems better but it costs more

That was a refurb Hover-1 Alpha from two weeks ago. I ordered two, and had to send both back. Neither would hold air in back tire, one had max speed of 6mph. You didn't miss anything, bad refurbs (iRecertify)
not true the ES4 refurb was 225 at walmart a while back i got one and now i regret i didn't get two!

Probably a dumb question. I've ridden the lime scooters and similar around Lake Tahoe and loved them. Is this a totally different class of product, or would it feel simliar?

I'm 6'9" 255 and i've been riding a similar scooter for a year now to bars and to screw around etc. Works fine, your range will go down a bit but these things will still do at least 5-10 miles on a single charge.
