If I didnt already have three.....Big Grin

This is the best deal I have seen and this is the better looking Piano black finish
I dont know the difference in the V2 versus the V1 as I have no demoed them side by side

But these subs are the real deal and the price to performance ratio is off the charts
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Delivery option shows 'Inside entryway'
Hopefully the delivery guy will help move the thing upstairs.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

I never imagined I would be purchasing such expensive subwoofers, but I figured since I used my previous for so many years, it would be worth getting quality ones haha.

Wife sometimes grimaces at me when the current subwoofer makes weird noises during certain movies/songs rofl.
you're welcome. each of the V1 i bought was at a bit higher price than this sale and each costs about the same as all my other speakers in my setup combined. so yeah i decided to spend way more on these subs too, figured as long as they don't go bad, they can be there forever even if one day I wanna change other speakers in my setup. my previous sub was way cheaper and i have no experience of other brand subs in similar price range, but i'm happy with my monoliths. no regrets.

i tried this one out but ended up going with a 15" rel sealed subwoofer. yea it's loud, it rattles the entire house, it does explosions well but something is not quiet right about when just listening to music.

some people here and elsewhere mentioned distortion. i don't know if that's the issue. but i just didn't like the sound.

my set up is bower and wilkins M1 surround and height speakers, wharfedale evo 4.4 front towers

I nabbed one of the V1s during their Black Friday sale last year and don't regret going big at all. If I was going to upgrade, I wanted it to be powerful enough for a dedicated theater space once I can figure that out.

BTW, I upgraded from a Klipsch 12" and it is a HUGE upgrade!

This is not enough for a dedicated home theater. We call them end game subwoofers. I'd go with JTR 18" subs for that at the least. I say this as an owner of an all SVS Ultra system and dual PB16s.

This vs SVS?

Monoprice is the better bang for your buck until you need customer service. If there's ever a problem SVS stands behind their products, Monoprice...good luck.

There is barely any reviews on this model while the newly released 13inch sub has a ton of reviews
Wonder why thats is. Monoprice doesn't want reviews of this 15 incher? Strange

Please discuss your personal experience with Monoprice customer service

I have three Monolith subwoofers...bought at separate times over the last 18 months
Two of them didnt have a power cable in the box when they arrived
I had a replacement power cable in 3 days from them
By the way I had cables here to set the units up with but reached out to them because the unit I purchased did not have one

Stellar performance for the price
They sell a lot of these I am sure
As a long time member of AVS forum I know that they have a long term buyers who have had great experiences

As I said many times before...if the asian A/V customer service meets your expectations....Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, Onkyo, Pioneer...then Monoprice customer service shout meet all your expectations
Yamaha is slighter better at customer service than the others in my experience

if you are accustomed to the higher end brands customer service..Arcam, McIntosh, Rotel then Monoprice customer service will be a downgrade for you

I got the Monolith M-12 V2, just a few weeks back around 700$ and that thing is an absolute monster. Came off a pallet and barely cleared the area in the corner of my house. If i had room, i'd return the 12 and get this.

From monoprice or some other retailer? I thought monoprice increase v2 by $200 to $899.

Mine arrived today but we are leaving town and I was unable to test them out before I left. Anybody else try theirs out yet?

Thank you for sharing your experience!

Are you happy with your Monolith subwoofers? I have been second guessing my purchase lol (set delivery date for late August). Don't know if they will make a noticeable difference to my system.

Yes..very happy with them
I have three of them in my listening area

The only issue I had was that two of them shipped to me without a power cord. I reached out customer service and I had replacement power cords in 3-4 business days

I dont know what you have now...but these are the real deal

Appreciate the response! That is good to hear haha.

I have an old 8" subwoofer and am trying out an SVS PB-2000 Pro. Space is about 8000+ cubic ft. Going from the 8" to PB-2000 Pro was a huge improvement, never heard high quality bass before haha.

Wonder if going from the PB-2000 Pro to the 2x 15" would be a significant improvement.
