These prices are similar to the direct offers that come through for Great Wolf Lodge here.
The advertised $129 rate becomes $195 after taxes & fees.

Unfortunately I feel this is the norm with Groupon in recent years.

Basically it's just used as advertising while offering the same prices available elsewhere, and often you can get better deals directly. Ymmv by deal, but agree that Groupon isn't the guaranteed deal it once was

We went to Kalahari in PA last winter and had a blast; we were there over NY eve and I don't recall it being particularly expensive; it was also massive....... much much much larger than GWL.

Just in case anyone wanted to see if the 30% off Groupon promotion code from this week's T-Mobile Tuesday works on this -- it did NOT seem to apply (for me at least)

The date availability is ALWAYS horrible with these deals. And FYI, the "special" price dates coincidentally start the week after school starts. At least at my location. 🙄

Normal local coupons dont work. Travel coupons might work. Groupon select definitely works for 10% off.

Also fyi this appears to be normal Groupon pricing that is offered for Great Wolf Lodge throughout the year.

Yep, with GWL, I just pretend the rate is the hotel and the resort fee is the water park entry Smilie

They're almost as bad as Disney with all the nickel and dime stuff.

Keep in mind you can also stay elsewhere and just buy daypasses…
