Harvesting bundled plan to existing line
1. Turn off your current device.
2. Sign on to your Tracfone account.
3. Note down your current balances (MTD, service end date).
4. Activate the flip phone on the Tracfone activation page.
- Click [Activate] under "New Phone - One you've purchased through Tracfone."
- Select "I want to keep my number", and make sure to pick your existing line
- Enter the IMEI of the new phone.
- Complete the activation.
5. Log out of your account, wait for 15-60 minutes and sign on again to confirm your updated balances.
Normally, I wait overnight to complete the next steps.
6. Re-activate your current device by following steps 2-5; however, in step 4 use IMEI of your current device.
Good luck!
You don't even have to turn on the device to complete the harvesting process. Easy peasy!

The Tracfone (TP) PIN is not the one on your account page!! Tracfone changed their pin process. You text NTP to 611611 and it gives you a 4 digit pin for port out. I learned this the hard way. Also, you need to use a new pin # for every failed port out attempt.
First, you can text FOUR to 611611, which helps you identify your account number by providing the last four digits of that acct number. Then text NTP to 611611, that's the pin to use for this port out attempt and then you'll need to use the ZIP code of where you lived or where you bought the phone when you first opened your TF account.

Port-Out PIN: (text NTP to 611611)
Account Number: The IMEI of one of the phones on the account OR last 15-digits of the SIM ICCID (text "FOUR" to 611611 to figure out which one it is)
Zip Code: where you first opened the account Not necessarily where you live now.
Yes, the device can be unlocked after 60 days since it has already been registered as activated in TF's system.

It's the original IMEI that you activated with. I had to learn this the hard way because I spoke to a few reps from my new and old service before someone finally gave me the correct info on why the port wasnt coming through.

When I originally opened my account a couple years ago, the default address was Miami FL 33178 (TF HQ). I didn't update it at that time. And just checked now, it still is (under Device). I don't see where I can change it online - it says to contact TF. But on the app, under Profile, it has my correct address. Can't find it visible anywhere online. So for porting purposes, I'm guessing it's the FL zipcode?

Got one.
Much cheaper than refills.
Anyway to bypass the hsn "new account" requirement, if deal comes up again?
Would get a new phone number each time, ya?
Dad only uses flip phone.
T-mobile legacy pay as you go plan.
$100 for 1000 minutes, for a year--and minutes roll over.
Hard to find a cheap (new) flip phone anywhere, except used on ebay.
Got harder as t-mobile only 4G now.
