If I thought you knew anything about the product I would care about discussing it. It is not an either or. Threadcrapping or shilling. If you have a negative personal experience then share it. There is more misinformation here than information. I buy and sell computer parts and systems for the last 27.5 years. Started writing code in the 70's. I've been written about in Computer Retail News many times. I've tested as an expert witness in Forensic computing. I'll be on a few panels at an industry conference in Denver next month. I've sold a ton of Teamgroup products SSD, but mostly Ram. RMA is under 1%, if you know what you are doing, I do. There is US RMA. The form is on website and you will be able to send it their RMA center in Texas. .To obtain an RMA number, please send an email to the U.S. customer service center to request a repair order, and then fill out and email to [email protected] or call TEAMGROUP's U.S. customer service center at 1-866-368-8788 ext.133(Toll Free) This is as of May/2021. I've never had any issue with a fairly speedy RMA. SSD's and Ram can be shipped very inexpensively and still trackable. First Class Mail or Priority Mail. They pay to ship it back.
Like I have to chime in on every Teamgroup thread, I've went through hundreds of Teamgroup SSDs now on personal and customer builds over the last 7 years with zero bad units. Out of a hundred Samsung and WD/Sandisk SSDs, I've had six bad ones.
This is 1TB for under $60.
Its a cheap data drive and decent brand.

Of course you can spend more and get better.
And I would definitely recommed spending more for a better drive for the primary / boot drive.
This is a cheaper drive. it hs its use for non critical data.
It isn't trash product and its not a bad brand.
e.g. above R3DTR1X says they use them in external enclosues.
This is SD and the low $ / TB deals for drives are going to get discussion here.
I don't quite understand the complaints..
You realize part of that discussion is pointing out the cons of a product right? Or did you think SD forum is only for shilling?
Yet you've only provided your opinion. Any drive can fail so that's DOA. you prefer more expensive brands... that's subjective. So yes I agree the forum is in fact "for shilling". You've done nothing but prove that
What is the fascination for these dram-less ssds that have no warranty service in the US?
Is Team Group a sponser of SD?

Almost all deal nonsense has nothing to do with the product at hand Slippery Deals simply doesnt care. All they are interested is you setting a tracking cookie so they can collect affiliate revenue
And in this case it is a sleeper cell post ...look at gjvm29's history ...there are thousands of these sleeper cell accounts awaiting activation for truly bogus self serving deals
