Spend a bit more and get a stand with gas pistons if you plan to rotate or move in any way. I bought something like this first and while it was stable, changing from landscape out portrait or moving it for different angles was a pain.

I've had 2 of these for my (27in and 22in) and my wife's (28in and 24in) monitors for about 4 years. They work well, though we don't tilt them, we often swiveled them when our desks were facing one another.

I got a similar monitor stand for my pc a while back. I love the idea of it but find that the lip of my desk is not large enough to fully support the stand and that the monitor stand itself is not super responsive. Essentially when I move it slightly to adjust it does not really hold firmly and wiggles a bit. I make it work but at this time looking for something different.

I assume its because its on the cheaper end, so that said does anyone have experience with a more expensive option that holds well and can move and tilt and still be secure?

I got this for 17 a few weeks ago from one of the many no name brands that get pushed through SD. They are always within this price range.

I am only using it for one flipped 23" portrait monitor, and it is holding just fine. Sturdy with no bending so far. Keep up with the allen tool they provide so you can adjust it.

Keep in mind these are not designed for standing desks. Reviews say the pole is too short. According to my research, this is typical for these types of stands. I'm still searching for a taller one.

I have a 32 inch monitor hooked up to 1 of these arms (other arm is empty) and the 32in monitor is a bit too heavy for the arm as it's tilting down. 1 had 2x 27in monitors on it before, and the arms lilted down too, so while it looks flimsy, it's good enough, just barely.

Just chipping in that they are a respectable brand (Huanuo). I bought a different 2-arm model from them via amazon, and it's going strong at 4 years. In 2019, I lost one of the clamp options during a move, and reached out to them to buy it as an accessory. They shipped one for free.
