FYI Target will once again offer a free $10 Target gift card when you spend at least $100 on Apple gift cards. The deal will be valid in stores and on Target.com 7/31 thru 8/6 according to page 27 of the weekly ad preview: https://weeklyad.target.com/promo...31&page=17 Ad indicates limit of 1 per guest, but YMMV in stores.

RedCard holders can save an additional $4.50. The discount is not equal to 5% ($5) because Target assigns a $10 charge to the "free" gift card and $90 for the remaining balance owed. Therefore RedCard 5% is based on $90 so the discount equals $4.50.

P.S. Apple has a limit of $2000 to be saved to your Apple Account Balance + an additional 8 gift cards during online checkout. An individual gift card can also not exceed $2000.

**UPDATE: This deal will extend for the week of 8/7 - 8/13 as well.**
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It's Limit 1 per promotion. But yes, I've gotten multiple $10 Target GC on 1 single account.

Last year when they ran this promotion I bought $5000 worth of gift cards. I'd buy a gift card, add the $10 to my Apple account and then load the $100 Target gift card to my account. Once I hit the $2000 maximum on my Apple ID I would buy myself whatever Apple product I needed and then rinse and repeat. The trick for me was to buy each gift card one at a time. If I ordered a card before the previous once was emailed to me it would get canceled.
These are great. I pay for Netflix via Apple. It's like an automatic 13% off the subscription price.
the title is misleading. it isn't 90 bucks.

its 100 and a free ten dollar gift card.

am i missing something?

**UPDATE: This Target deal will extend for the week of 8/7 - 8/13 as well.**

This could allow you to purchase 1 online this week, and 1 again next week. No idea how Target's system will treat the deal.

Last time this deal was on last month....Target had pulled all non-target gift cards from their shelves in my area. Still don't see any apple gift cards in store.

Can this be used to purchase hardware as well? Noticed you can add up to $2000 to your account balance but is that for App Store stuff? Or can I just bring a ton of apple gift cards to buy hardware?

Would you be able to fully pay for an Apple .Edu promotional item that comes with a free gift card using only gift cards as the form of payment?

So worst case scenario is that you can pay the education pricing minus $150 with your Apple account balance/redeemed GCs. This is because Apple takes off $150 off the hardware price, and adds the $150 GC during checkout.

Have you tried returning the product and add those additional cards to your account? How does the refund work. I am still holding on to the codes cuz it doesnt allow more than 2k
