MadPup, if by chance your using a smartphone and not even seeing the price go ahead and close the Lowe's app. Reopen the Lowe's app then select the Slickdeals link. You will then see the item price with "free gift with purchase". Cumbersome yes. This has been occuring with me for past 1-2 months with a variety of Lowe's links.

Got this about a year ago for $109 with 8ah battery and quick charger. Tried to sell the circular saw tool only for $109 but it didn't sell so I kept it. Apparently SD and BS has that impact of impulse purchasing and hoarding. If you're actually going to use it then it's a good deal(not as great as last year but no time machine)

Such a great saw... in 2010. Lol.

I still can't believe they're charging this much for a brushed saw. I really like Bosch.. but this saw should be like $89 tops. It's too outdated at this point.

Now, if they gave a new shoe, and frame design that could turn it into a plunging track saw... I'd pay $250 for it.... because it'd be the best left blade track saw in the universe! 🤣 🤣 🤣

When did they have this with the 8ah for $109?

My records show December 15th 2021 for the Profactor 18V 7-1/4-in with free 8ah battery and turbo charger $109.50 (118.26 after tax)

I've owned this saw for years. I'm a huge fan of Bosch tools (12 & 18v units), but find this saw to be underpowered. YMMV based on usage of course, but cutting ply and 2x4 I've had too many cases where it bogged down (even with full battery, sharp blade, etc). Even as someone heavily invested in Bosch tools, I'd think twice about this purchase. Obviously a corded unit will have far more torque, but unfortunately I can't advise on a better cordless unit. I suppose I should say that I haven't used other cordless circular saws, but my experience with this saw is that its performance is sufficiently mediocre that I'll take on the hassle of running a corded unit for anything but the quickest job. Good luck.

I feel the same way. I own this and hardly use it. I'm looking at getting their PROFACTOR model as it's supposed to be a lot better.

Bummer. Was on the fence with this one - kind of wish I didn't get it now... thanks for the feedback. I rarely use my corded saw... Would I use this more because it is cordless? Likley not. I have a corded chop saw also. This might get returned to the store based on the above.

Sorry to have spoiled your buy, but at least someone should be able to learn from my misfortune. And I truly am a Bosch fan - other than their 12v recip saw everything I've bought from them has been outstanding (excepting the marginal circular saw). If it helps I love the battery powered vacuum. Far exceeds expectations.

I may keep it. I am a light user - i got into the bosch line about 1.5 years ago - from having a 20 year old craftsman and a bunch of mis-match junk. $99 with battery seems fair - if I keep my expectations low. Really the last thing I need/want is a jig saw in the 12v or 18v line. I have both lines of bosch... Will likely go 18v with the jig. Honestly these Lowes sales are what got me into the line in the first place. So many good deals 'with free battery' drew me in.

No longer $99 deal. Back to $129. Still get the free battery though...
