I hope some might benefit by having this number since their email communication has failed for me. I emailed them over the weekend and heard nothing back Monday. Monday night, I got a "preparing to ship" update, but it has not been given to the carrier yet. Hope I can get it canceled instead of having to ship it back at my expense or have to keep it to avoid losing money.

Perhaps you even have a different LCD Display? I can see on the back of mine it says it is Model AK47.
I have tried searching for hacks on Model AK47 but haven't come up with anything, but see this is in fact the display as quantities can be bought from Alibaba etc, showing this display.
I did notice I can get to some type of undocumented menu on mine with PO levels and settings by holding down the up and down at the same time while the display is on.
Edit:
Ah, I figured out how to remove the limit!!
These PO settings look to be standard.
So get to the PO settings by holding the Up/Down at the same time after the LCD is on.
Click on the power button to go through the PO's.
PO8 is the limit! This is in kmh, this was set to 32, bump this up with the up arrow to 41. That is the max I could change it to. This works out to 25.5 mph.
After this change I can get to 25mph going down a hill.
On a straight road I can cruise at about 22 with full throttle. Pedaling fast like crazy I can get it up 24.
So this is a bit of an increase. Perhaps with a bigger front sprocket I could peddle a bit normally and get to 25.
Perhaps it is a limit of the 350W motor or the battery to get me with throttle to 23 or so, but I don't think the controller itself will let me go above 41kph with motor assist.
Possibly changing wheel size, PO6, would allow assist at faster speed?
FYI, I see some people have commented about their having 5 instead of 3 levels. This can be set in the PO5 setting.
Here are the PO settings for an entirely different controller, but they look pretty close from what I see. https://elecbikeparts.c
There could be some other cool settings to see what they are and work with them.
for example: P12 PAS Start Strength
0-5, Higher = more assistance
Amount of assistance given when you start pedaling.
I am thinking this must be low. It seems to give very little help right away. Perhaps a safety feature set at factory? But I want help right away!
Or PO9 might affect how quickly it helps?
P09 Throttle Response
0 for instant throttle, 1 for delayed throttle
Sets whether pressing throttle and motor beginning to spin is instant, or whether there is a delay between the actions.
Edit: P09 was already set at 0 and can't be changed
P12 was set at 3 and can't go higher, but it can go lower.
FYI, read on this site https://power-bicycle.com/ebike-power/ that hub motors are pretty much limited to 25.
"Once the ebike is travelling at 25 MPH, the controller-wheel speed is maxed out. You can't go far over 25 MPH on most hub motors unless the motor & controller pair are designed for higher speeds."
This guy also talks about a smoothing circuit the mfgs implement for greater distance. Something about a loop back wire that can be removed to increase initial assistance but at
a sacrifice in distance.
Not a lot of reviews. I got a warning going to this site (possibly fraudulent?).
Why don't they sell any ebikes on their non-corporate site?
Is anyone else concerned this is a knockoff? Joyridebikes.com is the original site (since 2001) selling Hurley and joyridebike.com (since 2015) is painted with 'weird' all over it.

Not trying to talk down the bikes at all. This is a great deal. The bikes with the 10ah batteries all look like they could be easily replaced with pretty standard battery packs which is a huge plus for me. Hope you enjoy the rides!
Ordered Hurley Big Swell 1000w bike on 8/21, received 8/29. I'm in southwest. Bike was packaged well, covered in tons of foam zip tied to keep it in place. Bike was mostly assembled, just needed handle bars and pedals put on (handle bar post was on backwards out of the box also). Charging to full from out of the box took about 3 hours. Tires already inflated.
According to the display I did 16 miles and used 25% of the battery bar on first ride. Speed was limited at 20mph / Pedal assist 5. Holding the top two buttons, "+" and "i" until the screen dimmed momentarily (About 2 seconds) removed the limit and allowed me to get up to 28mph. Turning off the bike or going back down to pedal assist 4 or lower put the limiter back on, and the process had to be repeated.
I had to retighten the handle bars once, but after that no issue. Pedaling while using pedal assist felt like I was basically doing nothing no matter what gear I was in. Had to turn it off to get anything resembling exercise.
Love the bike, happy with the purchase and packaging. Had a great time zipping around town. here. I can't comment on any hill stuff, it's totally flat here.
How do you find the difference between level one and level 5 for pedal assist? Can you get a decent amount of exercise with level 1?
How long does the bike take to get up to 28mph on flat ground approximately? Does the acceleration feel good?
Any issues with the shifter?
Anyone have a similar problem?
(Thanks in advance!!)

If you're pushing faster than the level's speed cap you could get some exercise there. I'd argue you don't really need assistance in that case though
I did a speed test for ya, and it took 11 seconds to get to 28mph from a stand still. The acceleration feels good to me, I didn't find myself wishing it would pick up any faster unless I'm trying to race a car or something like that.
The shifter felt a little slow to engage for me but it gets there. However, on flat land I don't find myself doing any shifting really. The up shift lever is hidden under the handle bar. I like it in 6th gear (of 8)

Yes probably a decent back log of getting orders shipped, another member created a new thread on scooters using the same coupon code I provided
Any further than that should just be the amount you pedaled (baring hills, wind, that sort of stuff). All this is optimistically assuming that the batteries are actually as rated and on low end e-bikes that is rarely the case.
Again, not trying to dis on the bikes at all. But I think the math is pretty solid on how motors and batteries work, the marketing however is often quite fuzzy because they can be like... it'll go a hundred miles on a charge, just pedal a bit more.

The only issue seems to be finding a replacement battery. There doesn't seem to be much out there that fits the bike.

Any thoughts on the build quality/fit and finish? How comfortable is it to ride?
Would you say it is really more of a moped first and bicycle second? How is it ergonomically when you actually pedal? Does the power feel adequate?
Under 1400 for something with a 1000w motor, hydraulic brakes and decent range is pretty tempting.
