Excellent tool. Bought this for $100 when HD was clearing out stock in 2020. I bought some multipurpose oil to keep it lubed and haven't had any issues cutting all manner of <1" sized bushes/branches/etc. Don't use it often, but when I do it's a huge time saver.
Dang you SD…. I already have the HTA2000 attachment for the multi head system and rarely use it. Nice for space but little annoying having to swap and don't always need a long one either. This Amazon one would be lighter for lower jobs, but would take more space in the small shed I have….
Man decisions, decisions…. I bought now, pushed the delivery date out, and will give it a day or 2 to think on it.

Any good if I only have the big 56v 7.5 AH lawnmower battery?
Only if you have super strong arms.

I have that one as well and still grabbed this. I rarely use it as well because I hate using it. I find it too cumbersome.

2.5Ah battery is a pretty small capacity battery
Not for this tool or the weed waker it makes them light and balanced. You can run this for an hour easily with the 2.5 now if it was the mower or blower agreed.

Thanks for feedback. Yeah I usually have my edger attachment in the multi head since I use that a lot. Swapping out for the occasional hedging on low bushes I have is annoying, but it's been nice for high honeysuckle brush in the backyard and don't need a ladder.
This HT2410 will be nice for a few small bushes I have like forsythia. Quick to grab and light. Perhaps I'll keep it then. Wasn't hard I suppose with an all-time low price haha, but you convinced me.

I don't have many bushes. But the itch to add another ego product to my collection is there.

Unless I'm missing something, getting the battery for an extra $82 seems pretty slick.
