Our Costco (also WA) had this price about a week ago, they also discounted the Sony Bravia XR A80J (or Costco equivalent model) all the way down to 1150 for a 65" with the free extended 5 year warranty which is the deal the wife and I ended up getting. Both seemed like a great deal, but we wanted to save the extra 300 bones and couldn't really tell the difference after staring at them for a good 20 minutes.

Love our A80J. If comparing the two, the C1 comes out on top for gaming performance, while the Sony has the best out of box picture and sound (speakers behind the screen). Both excellent options, the Sony has since added variable refresh for gaming (was a big negative when it was first launched, if I understand it all)

Do you mind sharing the receipt or price tag for the A80j? Our costco still list it at 1499.
I bought bothe A80J and the C1 set them up side by side in my den and will say hands done the A80J was the better TV. Though the pictures are similar I didn't see what others say about the A80J being darker. I thought the sound was superior on the A80J. Ease of use hands down to Sony A80J. We're not gamers so the edge to C1 I hear about is not relevant to us. Very pleased with my purchase off Amazon from Prime Day at $1399. Glad I had them side by side as it was a very hard decision from all the reviews/comments I was reading for months before buying. Replaced a still going strong Samsung KS8000 (moved to the bedroom). Hope this helps others in the decision of A80j vs C1.

I checked my camera roll and I didn't take a picture of the sign at the store, and when they rang us up it actually rang up for 1499 but we pointed out that it said 1149.99 in our store they they had to call someone over to go check and override it for us. Receipt says item number 9865080 SONYXR65A80C.
Hoping ours wasn't a price mistake and other people can get one. Here's a link to the receipt if that helps you: https://imgur.com/CJYTmMK

Will other Costco's price match a manager override from another store? Looks like the receipt shows a manager override.
Both the C1 and A80J or CJ are great TVs. I have both and like them alot. Had them in the same room during March Madness to watch two games at the same time.
The Amazon Prime Day deal on the 65" A80J was great at $1,399 and Costco's recent markdown to $1,499 is just as good if not better considering the longer warranty.
The 65" A80CJ at the Costco in WA for $1,150 is a steal.
Have seen the RTINGS A80K review and if I needed a new TV, I'd grab what's left of the A80J/CJ. I also like the metal bezel and the metal on the back of the panel on the A80J compared to the plastic bezel and plastic on the back of the panel on the A80K. Both models have plastic housing for the electronics.
A review I saw on Youtube said that the A80J/CJ with the EVO panel is brighter than the A80K/CK because Sony didn't change the software to compensate for the EVO panel on the A80J/CJ.
