Just an FYI & IMO. Bought a Champion 3100 gas with remote six years ago for my RV.
I LOVE that remote. I roll over in the morning, push a button and the coffee is brewing before I get out of bed.
I don't know why the remote isn't more readily available in the inverter market.

In for one, not dual fuel, good luck getting propane tanks after a hurricane so will run on gas(I store 50 gallons prior to a hurricane) plus more power on gas. Selling an 18 year old briggs 5500 watt super loud generator bought after Wilma, 8300 starting watts so has a ton of power but too damn loud and dirty power. Im going to miss the extra power but will get buy on this smaller unit, Led lightbulbs a great start to less watts. This champion deal was too good to pass up, now I get to tell the wife about my purchase, lol.

FYI high elevation folks- I have found that the propane burns more consistently than even the best non-ethanol fuels. If you camp in the higher elevations it's very very nice to use propane vs gas because it's more reliable at providing consistent power up high (7,500 feet and up).

Also I don't think propane burning ones ever have the remote for the obvious safety concerns of leaving the propane tank open and connected to the generator while the generator is off.

Got this similar price, so far it runs great, used it for both my rv with and to run my house no ac (ac is 240 not 120) while power company shuts power off.

Champion 100520 is what you want but it doesnt go on sale very often. It is an inverter generator so safe for electronics, which are in everything now including furnace, AC, refrigerator....

This is the one I have and I love it. Runs my house with ease, and I usually flip it to eco mode at night. Quieter and uses less fuel.

Good info. How do you position it outside and keep it safe from rain etc or is it under say your RV canopy or something? Especially if you leave it connected and ready to fire up in the morning.
