Solid price. Excellent tool. I have 2 of these and they're brilliant. I may buy one of these as a gift. I have multiple extra batteries and chargers unopened already, so it'd make a good gift.

Understandable, and certainly worth noting. However, in my experience, unless you're a contractor and literally live your life with the tool in your hand, the cycle life doesn't matter as much, considering you can buy a number of batteries, charge them all up, and the average handyman or home user can go months without needing to cycle every battery in their kit. So long as the output remains high enough to get the job done, capacity doesn't concern me as much. But yes, if you want more assurance of the lifetime, get the Dewalt ones with a warranty.

Fair points. I've had bad experiences with cordless vacuum batteries that are cycled almost daily.

I haven't had good luck with aftermarket power tool batteries either NiCad or lithium. In my experience they don't have the Ah stated (run time) and I am lucky to get 6 months out of them if that. Again this is with NiCad and lithium. Just my thoughts.
