was at first interested. especially since walmart has it same low price. read ALL the reviews. besides dented cans a LOT of folks (but not the majority) hated the taste.... not buttery enough for popcorn, powdery after taste, etc. and seems you can use in recipes and baking but not to simply fry eggs in and such. ill take a pass, wanted to share my research and thots, thanks for post

I bought some. As far as I am concerned it is inedible. The taste and texture is heinous. I can't think of an application I would use it.

I think it's meant to use in an emergency when you can get much cheaper, fresh butter at the store. If you haven't eaten for days, this would be heaven.
