Use 3 fingers or your palm to activate the touch screen. This is not on the manual for some reason.

This is a really good price for a keypad deadbolt. However, keep in mind this model does not have the ability to add a module for home automation.

Having no home automation bridge is more hacker proof IMHO

By the way, I used a Yale lock before, quality was solid. But if you want to ask for warranty service, lower your expectations because you probably won't get any (and waste lots of your time). Their customer support responded pretty quickly, but will eventually ask you to go through a lengthy process to make sure the lock is defective. You need to reserve a few hours, have all tools ready, and be handy. They require you to do all kinds of tedious tests, including uninstalling and making adjustments. Obviously they just want to let you back off. At this price I would say it's worth a try but think it as disposable.
