NEIKO 3/8-Inch-Drive Impact Socket Set with SAE and metric sockets! It includes both deep and standard SAE and metric sockets with easy-to-read laser-etched markings for quick identification. Each socket is protected from oil, dirt, and grease thanks to a phosphate coating and is constructed with drop-forged premium CrV steel for maximum life and durability. With a 6-point hex socket design to protect from round off and other damage, each socket in this socket extension set can be used with complete confidence.

This set includes extension bars and a U-joint adapter to let you reach more angles on fasteners in tight places. It also comes with a blow-mold socket case that has an individual space for each piece.

This set includes the following

SAE standard and SAE deep sizes: 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", and 3/4".
metric deep and metric standard sizes: 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, and 19 mm.

Additionally, each set comes with one 3-inch-drive and one 6-inch-drive impact extension bar, a 3/8-inch universal joint, and a 1/2-to-3/8-inch reducer.

The set + 5-Piece Set for Impact Driver Conversions is $8 more at $60.

It is basically the same set as 43-Piece Milwaukee Shockwave 3/8" with half price. However, the warranty is not lifetime like Milwaukee.

mentioned by @dandidit in the reply that Amazon basic has similar set in lower price $36.56

However the country of origin is different if that matters to you. Not sure about the build quality. The Amazon basic set is just slightly lighter.

These sockets are made from chrome vanadium steel, and are made in Taiwan. Milwaukee uses a proprietary forged steel alloy. Milwaukee's set meets ASME standards. They also have a lifetime warranty. I think Milwaukee's set is "professionally made in China."
Interesting reads about Cr-Mo vs Cr-V. https://www.tekton.com/blog/crmo-or-crv-steel and https://capritools.com/the-differ...olybdenum/ Please read with a grain of salt as these articles are coming from companies that use Cr-V.

I may also be impartial since I bought this exact impact socket set and lightly used it adapted with my 1/4in impact driver. For my few years of use, this set has served it purpose from auto work to house work. Torqued more than 150 ft/lb (woops) but at least I know this set is good for my use.

Looks like the Amazon Basics set is Chrome Moly (Cr-Mo). Only real difference I saw and YMMV but I had an additional 10% off coupon.

What's crazy is the Amazon basics set that shows up when on this neiko link also meets Asme standards!

yeah. The Amazon basics set blows my mind. I'd be buying the 80 piece set if I didn't already have the Sunex version and a set from Milwaukee

Looking on the web, the Neiko has 30-day warranty (and its pro tools have a one-year warranty) - so the amazon set has better warranty

Great price with how infrequent I need impact 3/8 I'd be all over this if each socket didnt have "Amazon Basics" on it lol.

Solid set but they need to rebrand the logo for stuff like this.
