- You must be a new Fi customer. A new Fi customer is someone who has never had Fi service or someone whose last day of Fi service took place more than 180 days before making a purchase with this promotion.
- To qualify for the full $500 discount, you need to:
- Activate the phone on a new full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and keep the qualifying phone active on Google Fi for 120 consecutive days.
- You must activate on the same Fi account used to purchase the phone or be a new member of the purchaser's group plan.
You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible. - The discounted price will automatically apply during checkout. If you do not meet the conditions above, $500 will be charged to your Google Pay account.

Leave the GFi sim in and use your regular service via the eSim as the primary since it comes unlocked. The Google Fi app shows the countdown timer to 120 days and them you port your number back to Google voice.
No need to make it unnecessarily complicated.
More realistic is somewhere between $23- $26 which end up to $92 - $104

As for the phone. The S22+'s camera is really the only thing that makes me like this phone over previous phones. I use the camera a lot for ebay and taking pictures for auctions. The one problem I had with my old phone is that some things weren't color accurate regardless of what settings I applied in the camera software. I seem to have less problems with that when using the S22+. Also, call quality and signal have been great on AT&T towers via red pocket mobile. No issues at all regarding that.
The in screen fingerprint sensor is better than the one on the pixel line that's for sure (I bought that phone and refunded it after 3 days).. but I still prefer a side fingerprint sensor like the one I had in my old OPPO X3. The Samsung finger print sensor works maybe 80% of the time. The Oppo x3 side fingerprint worked 100% and unlocked in a fraction of the time. My Oppo X3 was almost an all around better phone except for the display brightness wasn't as good and the camera wasn't nearly as good. Otherwise, it was way faster charging and I actually enjoyed their software more.

Can i port my spare number to gFi and just keep it inside and use my regular (2nd) number with esim?
Now the best part, Google Fi customer service is horrendously bad, feel free to check Reddit for more information. But if you get in on this deal, you must activate the phone and then keep it active for 120 days. If you do not, for any reason, you will be charged the $500 and will have to fight it. Even if you RETURN the phone within the RETURN PERIOD, they have charged multiple people $500 after the phone was returned, and then you are in a battle to get the money back. So I'm waiting for my 120 days to be up, and saying goodbye to these morons forever. I expected something branded by Google to be ok. It's a nightmare. Please. Don't.

If you use mobile data, you shouldn't be buying the $20/mo plan unless it is occasional between WiFi spots in daily use. For people, who use WiFi most of the time, they don't need to pay for what they don't use. Other carriers are very expensive for this for single lines.
You can buy some other prepaid virtual carriers that might be better fit but they don't come with the international roaming features or free international SMS of GFi.
